An interesting translation of "caritas"--ususally it just means "love" or "charity", but, hey, at least carrots and potatoes are healthy ; )

Drat! Years of Latin, and I still confuse the accusative singular of charity with caritatoes!
I did indeed take years of Russian as well--and have visited Russia a couple of times--and so ГОВОРЮ, НО, К СОЖАЛЕНИЮ, ОЧЕНЬ ДУРНО И ПЛОХО И МЕДЛЕННО.
